No one from Tremblett’s Your Independent Grocer will ever contact you by phone, email, regular mail or other to request personal, credit or banking related information. If such information is solicited from you using the Tremblett’s name or logo, DO NOT provide it. Please notify the Police and Tremblett’s management immediately.
Tremblett’s valu-mart does not sell, rent or trade personal/business information that it collects, however, in the event of the sale of Tremblett’s Your Independent Grocer, personal/business information may be one of the transferred business assets.

Tremblett’s collects personal information from individuals on a voluntary basis through in-store and internet contact, contest & registration forms, questionnaires & surveys and transaction documents.

• To assist in understanding individuals’ needs and preferences and to adjust our products and services accordingly
• To conduct, process and complete transactions with customers
• To offer discounts, special online-only offers and/or contest information to members of the Tremblett’s online neighbourhood.

Sharing of your personal information and entrance into Tremblett’s Online Neighbourhood, contests and other promotions is done on a strictly voluntary basis.

We will also disclose the name(s) of our contest winners and use such for marketing purposes. By participating in specific online promotions or special in-store contests, winners are giving tacit and prior approval to the use of their name and image on the Tremblett’s site and in the store for Tremblett’s specific promotional purposes.
We will not knowingly disclose personal information to any third parties, except as necessary to our agents, professional advisors, promotional and marketing agencies, and to any other third parties in order to complete transactions, to process data and to service our customers/online neighbourhood members. Retaining information
Your personal information is password protected and is not made readily available to anyone beyond the site administrators. At such time as personal information is no longer required for the purposes stated in this Privacy Statement or for other statutory requirements, such personal information will be made anonymous or destroyed.
As a member of the Tremblett’s online neighbourhood, you may ask to be removed from the data base at any time. Your personal information will be destroyed. This may take up to ten (10) business days.
Protecting information
To ensure the security of our customers’ personal information we have designated a Privacy Officer (site administrators) to be responsible for the care and control of personal information. Although we take great care in protecting the security of the personal information stored in our databases, information transmitted over the Internet can be intercepted by unauthorized parties. Tremblett’s valu-mart does not assume any liability for any unauthorized use or interception of personal information over the internet by third parties. In addition, we do not assume liability for any unauthorized use of personal information collected by third parties with websites that are the current or future subject of a link from our website.
